Martin Laird

Martin Laird is a Scottish professional who came up through Colorado State and turned pro in 2004, building his career on the PGA Tour with three wins: the 2009 Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, the 2011 Arnold Palmer Invitational, and the 2020 Shriners Hospitals for Children Open, the last ending a nine-year victory drought. He has also represented Scotland and made appearances in major championships throughout his career. The current setup leans Srixon through the bag, with a ZX U 4-iron at 18 degrees feeding into ZX7 MKII heads from 4 through pitching wedge, all built on Project X 6.5 shafts for a uniform load across the long stuff. Up top, the driver is a TaylorMade Qi10 at 10.5 degrees with a HZRDUS Smoke Black RDX 70 6.5 TX, a move from the PING G410 LST logged in the 2020 snapshot. The Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Two handles the putter slot.

The two snapshots show a driver progression from PING G410 LST in 2020 to TaylorMade Qi10 in the current build. Srixon irons have stayed in the bag across both checks, moving from the Z 785 to the ZX7 MKII with a ZX U long iron added on top. The putter slot turned over as well, from a TaylorMade Spider Tour in 2020 to the Odyssey Tri-Hot 5K Two now.
