Hideki Matsuyama turned professional in 2013 after twice winning the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship and taking low amateur honors at the Masters. He won the 2021 Masters, the first men's major title by a Japanese player, and has added multiple PGA Tour wins along with a bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics. Across ten snapshots dating to April 2021, the driver never leaves Srixon and simply steps through the line: ZX5, then ZX7, then ZX5 MKII, ZX5 MKII LS through early 2025, ZXi LS in the December 2025 snapshot, and the ZXi RKT LS now. The irons follow the same in-house path, Z-Forged early, a ZX and Z-Forged combination in the 2023 snapshot, then Z-Forged II from 2024 forward with a ZXi5+ 3-iron on top in the current build.
