Hideki Matsuyama turned professional in 2013 and became the first Japanese man to win a major championship at the 2021 Masters. He has collected multiple PGA Tour wins since his rookie season, including the 2024 Genesis Invitational, and represented Japan at the Tokyo and Paris Olympics.
