Left of Field Golf makes the case that Australia is the right place to rewrite golf style, and the argument is better than it sounds. The brand was established in Sydney in 2022 on the premise that Australian golf is not constrained by the traditions that police the game elsewhere, which gives it licence to build from surf and skate silhouettes rather than from the country club template. The product is more considered than that lineage implies: Elements and Bass polos around $105 to $120, a Bridgewater quarter-zip in 90/10 nylon spandex with contrast overlock stitching and a hidden pull cord, pleated wide-leg tech trousers, insulated gilets and padded vests, plus caps, ball markers and towels. Place names run through the range, with Ballina, Huskisson, Stanwell and Garie doing the naming work that logos would do elsewhere. LOFG ships globally from Sydney and has collaborated with Hiroki Golf. Australia is one of DORMIED's ten tracked markets and one of the thinnest in home-grown brands, which makes Left of Field a useful barometer for whether local demand can support local labels.
