Quick Answer
Retief Goosen plays a Callaway Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond driver, Callaway X Forged irons, Callaway Opus SP wedges, and an Odyssey Ai-One Wing Back DB putter, as recorded in the November 2025 bag snapshot. The driver is built with a Project X HZRDUS Smoke Green 65 6.5 TX shaft.
Retief Goosen is a South African professional whose two U.S. Open titles, at Southern Hills in 2001 and Shinnecock Hills in 2004, anchor a career that also includes consecutive European Tour Order of Merit wins in 2001 and 2002 and induction into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 2019. He now competes on PGA Tour Champions. The one bag on record is Callaway from driver through putter, with nothing mixed in from another brand. The driver is a Paradym Ai Smoke Triple Diamond at 8.5 degrees, the low spin head in that family, fitted with a Project X HZRDUS Smoke Green 65 6.5 TX, one of the firmer profiles in the line. The irons are the entry worth stopping on: X Forged 4-PW, a compact forged blade several generations behind the current catalog, on KBS V Ten shafts. The putter is an Odyssey Ai-One Wing Back DB, the double bend hosel, which is the only piece in the bag drawing on recent Callaway technology.

Bag History
1 snapshot tracked, 2025
The 2025-11-24 setup is the only snapshot in the database, so there is no change history to read against it. What stands out in isolation is the split between old and new. A modern low spin driver head and an Ai-One putter sit alongside X Forged irons that have been out of production for years, and the whole thing stays inside one brand.
