Guillermo Mito Pereira is a Chilean professional who came up through PGA Tour Latinoamerica and the Korn Ferry Tour, earning a 2021 PGA Tour card after a three-win Korn Ferry season triggered the tour's automatic promotion. He is best known to a wider audience for the 2022 PGA Championship at Southern Hills, where he held a three-shot lead on the 72nd tee before a double bogey dropped him into a playoff he ultimately lost. The driver is a PING G425 Max at 10.5 degrees with a Graphite Design Tour AD DI 7 X, a high-launch setup that fits a player who hits up on it and leans on carry.
