The most useful number in the 2026 Presidents Cup uniform announcement is 200. That is how many embroidery heads Summit Golf Brands runs across 75,000 square feet in Madison and Barneveld, Wisconsin. Every other detail in the release is downstream of that.
The Presidents Cup and Summit confirmed that B. Draddy and Zero Restriction will exclusively outfit both the U.S. and International sides at Medinah No. 3 from September 22 to 27, including captains, caddies and staff. B. Draddy built seven days of looks per team plus separate off-course pieces: polos, cashmere sweaters, sport vests, crewnecks, quarter zips. Zero Restriction handles the weather layer, from windproof vests to full waterproof suits. Every piece carries the Presidents Cup mark plus the team shield or flag. Brandt Snedeker and Geoff Ogilvy both got design input, with the U.S. in the expected red, white and blue and the International side in black and gold pulled from the Shield.
What makes this a business story rather than a fashion story is the logistics. Team golf apparel programs are closer to running a commercial kitchen than a design studio: fixed date, no flexibility, and a guest list that changes at the last minute. Captain's picks land weeks out. Caddie counts shift. A player's fit changes between qualifying and arrival. Somebody has to decorate hundreds of pieces with two different team identities and get them into two team rooms in Chicago without a single misplaced shield. Summit's vertical integration, which reads like filler copy at the bottom of the release, is the actual competitive moat. Brands that outsource decoration cannot bid on this work with a straight face.
That is also why the contract sits with a mid-size American apparel group rather than a global fashion house. The Ryder Cup has trained golf fans to expect luxury-adjacent branding on team gear. The Presidents Cup has gone a quieter direction, and Summit has been in the building for a decade: Fairway & Greene and Zero Restriction dressed the U.S. side in Korea in 2015, Zero Restriction served as official outerwear partner in 2019, 2022 and 2024, and B. Draddy made its uniform debut at Royal Montreal. A repeat after 2024 is the tell. The PGA Tour does not re-up a supplier on aesthetics alone. It re-ups when nothing went wrong.
The product calls are sound, which matters more than it sounds. Late September at Medinah can hand you a 78-degree Tuesday and a 48-degree Saturday with wind coming across the property. Cashmere in the layering assortment is not a flex there, it is a correct answer, and Zero Restriction's rain kit exists precisely because Chicago will eventually cash that check. The question is whether a cashmere crewneck reads as premium to a viewer who has spent two years watching tour players in stretch-knit performance layers cut like second skin. B. Draddy's whole identity is heritage cut, softer shoulder, natural fibers. On a Sunday singles broadcast, that either looks like the most grown-up apparel on television or like the one team who dressed for a member-guest.
Here is the tension worth watching. B. Draddy sits 64th globally in our index with a flat month-over-month reading, which is a strange place for a brand that will dress 24 of the best players alive on a global broadcast. That gap between distribution strength and cultural heat is the defining condition of the green grass channel. Summit sells into 3,500 clubs and resorts across 25 countries, which is enormous, and almost none of that volume generates conversation. The brand is known by pro shop buyers and by 55-year-old members who buy three polos a season. It is not known by the 32-year-old who follows drop calendars.
Selling both team collections direct on BDraddy.com and ZeroRestriction.com is the interesting move buried in the announcement. Replica team gear is the cheapest brand-awareness product in golf, and it puts a heritage wholesale brand into a DTC transaction with a customer who found them through a telecast rather than a rack. Whether B. Draddy treats September as a fulfillment win or as an acquisition window will tell you which company Summit is actually trying to build.
