Uneekor is the launch monitor brand that came at the category from overhead. The company established its US base in Irvine, California in 2015, spun out of Korean simulator maker Creatz, which had already built a commercial screen golf business in a market where indoor golf is not a winter compromise but the default way millions of people play. That head start is the whole argument: Uneekor entered the US with mature engineering rather than startup R&D, and it priced accordingly. The EYE XO2, EYE MINI and the G-Vision analysis layer put club and ball data in front of consumers at numbers that forced Foresight and SkyTrak to pay attention, and in 2024 Foresight licensed Uneekor a set of portable launch monitor patents rather than litigate. The brand also acquired Evnroll putters in 2023, which reads as odd until you consider that a company selling putting simulation wants a putter R&D arm. Uneekor sits in the awkward middle of the market: too expensive to be a budget play, too cheap to be treated as tour-grade. That middle is where most of the volume is.
