Maejer Golf launched in late July 2026, which makes it the newest brand on the Index by some margin, and it arrives with a Premier League footballer attached. Mason Mount, the Manchester United and England midfielder, is a co-founder rather than an endorser, and has said he has been creatively involved from day one alongside friends who started it with him. The positioning is luxury golf wear built around the traditions of the game and the style that surrounds it, with a tagline about the moments nobody captures. The product is early and the assortment is thin, which is what a launch looks like. What makes it worth tracking is the structure: athlete-founded brands in golf have mostly been apparel licences with a signature on them, and the ones that stuck, Sun Day Red and Bogey Boys among them, were built as businesses rather than deals. Mount is 27 with a long runway and an audience that has nothing to do with golf. Whether that audience follows him onto a course is the only question that matters here.
