Preston Stout came out of Oklahoma State's golf program, one of the deepest amateur pipelines in the country, before turning professional and beginning the climb through the developmental tours. His college resume put him on radar early, and the pro game has followed the pattern most Cowboys alumni take: work through the sponsor exemptions, chase status, keep the bag tight.
