Heads come from Asian foundries, assembly and fulfilment happen in the US, and the company has been candid that it is not chasing low handicaps. LAZRUS lives on Amazon and its own site rather than in green grass shops, and the review volume there is its real moat. It belongs in the same conversation as Takomo, Sub 70, Stix and Haywood, but it is the one aimed squarely at the golfer who plays 25 rounds a year and has never been fitted for anything.
